DANIEL SMITH Watercolour Stick - 12mL - Phthalo Blue (Red Shade) (PB15:6)

A powerful blue with a slightly red undertone, this popular pigment is valued for its strength and economy – just a daub of paint can color a whole sky. A dash of blue gives a full range of value. Mix dark colors for shading and shadows by combining Phthalo Blue with Quinacridone Rose. Use Phthalo Blue’s transparent quality to create containers and water around stems.

These are the stick version of DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine Watercolour paint. This stick format can be used directly on the page for drawing or can be rewetted with a paint brush for painting. The pigment load is higher than than the tube paint and makes the sticks a very cost effective way to try these artist quality paints.

Each stick is approximately 75mm long and is wrapped in a label with pigment information.

Store away from humidity, especially if you plan to draw with the stick, as humid environments can cause the stick to soften.
